Tell Your Senator: Support the STANDUP Act

I’m writing to ask the senator to please sign on as a cosponsor of the STANDUP Act. This legislation would encourage more states to implement policies requiring annual suicide-prevention training for students. This training can save lives and make schools safer across the country. As a supporter of Sandy Hook Promise, I’m committed to stopping violence before it takes place. I believe the STANDUP Act would help do this by providing resources and training for both students and teachers to mitigate self-harm and provide help when an individual is in crisis.
